Amped Kids Foundation is proud to partner with Georgia Council for Arts in 2025/2026 supporting music education and performing arts for children in our programs. Music lessons and performing arts build cognitive strength, emotional resilience, social connection, and long‑term academic and personal growth and healing from trauma.

Grant funding for performing arts gives children access to music lessons, instruments, therapy, and performance opportunities that directly strengthen mental health, academic achievement, and social connection—especially for youth facing adversity. It transforms what would otherwise be inaccessible enrichment into a structured, trauma‑informed support system.

Lifting Lives Through Music Therapy

Amped Kids added music therapy to the list of programs serving children in Nashville, Tennessee. Through the $1,500 grant provided by ACM Lifting Lives in 2025, music therapy was provided to 4 children in both individual and group sessions. Music therapy is a terrific tool for children who have experienced trauma giving tools to process emotions, have an outlet of expression and improve mental health and emotional regulation. The partnership with ACM Lifting Lives has made a positive impact in these children’s lives. We are grateful to serve the community together to ensure every child has access to mental and behavioral health services.
