AMPED Kids Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to positively impact the lives of foster children by providing access to free private music instruction and other music programs throughout Georgia.
We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children through the power of music. Through growing children’s musical gifts and interests and empowering them through mentorship, discipline and success principles, Amped Kids is lifting up children and giving them a voice.
Our dream is to provide hope and vision to children who are undergoing difficult life challenges and empower them for a better future through our AMPED music programs.
Join us for a house concert at Steve and Amy’s lake house on 10.03.2020 for some shopping, live music, and casual karaoke! Doors open at 3 with music starting at 5.
We will have live music performances from Katie Deal, Steve Bryson, Dave Craver, and founder April Rooks!
Amped Kids wants to inspire in every student a life-long love of music. Studies show that beginning musical study at an early age helps develop parts of the brain that control language and reasoning. Music education along with music therapy promote emotional healing and overall wellness. Listening to music or playing an instrument reduces stress and anxiety.
Our music programs for foster children are designed to offer a wide range of music education opportunities for children ages 5 to 18. Whether your foster child is interested in taking private lessons, being in their middle or high school band or would benefit from music therapy, we offer each child an opportunity to learn valuable life skills, find their purpose and build self-confidence all the while having a mentor on their journey.
